Solar powered pumps, on the initial investment, are relatively expensive but the source of energy is free, and there is no other operating costs except the maintenance,with solar power, we can easily decrease dependency on fossil fuel.According some statistics 1.5 million conventional pumps can be replaced by solar pumps. Each solar pump can replace four to five diesel run pumps.
