Shingled PV technology can be combined with PERC technology to make higher power solar panels.
Shingled PV technology of solar cells are featured with special contact pattern which makes solar cells can be cut into typically 5 or 6 strips. The strips can overlap like shingles on a roof to create electrical connections. The solar cell strips are connected by using an electrically conductive adhesive, which is both conductive and flexible.
The main sizes of shingled PERC monocrystalline solar cells include 158.75mm G1, 166mm M6, 210mm M12.

Shingled solar panel
Cells encapsulated in shingled solar panels are connected differently than conventional solar panels.
Solar cell strips connected in series

In a shingled solar panel, solar strings made up of solar cell strips in series are arranged both in series and parallel.
